Even satellites linked to warfare and death -missile defense --and peace loving liberal youth (mostly upper middle class) thus develop distaste for science. Also, it helps that every long holiday (such as 4th of July, Memorial day) the whole country wants to go to the beaches --who will do the 24*7 research, who will prepare for the exams --ofcourse immigrants and foreigners!!!
