Guwahati, July 6: Prabeen Bora, better known as Mrigen Master for his evergreen role in Asomiya blockbuster Dr. BezBaruah, a role that epitomizes the dawn of character artists in the Asomiya film industry, is undergoing treatment owing to Kidney disorders.
Bora, though is recuperating from his illness, however, has been advised complete bed rest for at least a month.
Bora (72) shot into instant fame after his classical portrayal of
the role of Mrigen master, an ally to main lead Nipon Goswami though he also had the privilege of working with legends like Phani Sarma and Bishnu Rabha.
Of late, Bora has been found busy in directing and prodcuing regional films. He is presently working on two projects.
The two projects, which was supposed to kick of within a span of two months or so would be delayed now seeing his health condition, informed Samrat Bora, son of the legendry actor.
His last directorial venture was Prem Bhora Sokulu.
I am feeling much better now, said Bora, when this correspondent enquires about his health.
Bora is undergoing medical treatment in the citys Nemcare Hospital.
Bora has also made many documentaries on the lesser-known tribes of the Northeast, which was appreciated by the people across the region.
