Till this date the Mai-Baap is GOI. Rubbishy MetDATA is dished out daily with name attached --XYZ Chakraborty...

Everybody else sits on their bottoms and waits. Like the rows waiting in front of Hindu Temples.

Even high sounding NGO's with names like Save Guwahati Build Guwahati SGBG does that.

You will need to wait a while.

One would think that every citi would have Meteriogical Dept which would keep records for daily temperature, rainfall etc. Does Guwahati have such a department? Does anybody know?

We are now in August. Nov-Dec data is also there. Means these are averaged --over how many years? And no data of this year!. Posted Today!! This is the limit of Indian Science Data!!!

I don't know if records for the last 200 years would be available. The IMD might be having it for 70-80 years. You may take recourse to the RTI provision, pay a fee and have everything you want.
