Can't blame poor CNN--they cater only to poor tastes of rich people.

Subject: [Assam] CNN should be ashamed of this poor quality report. CNN has the reputation of up to the minute reporting across the globe. CNN must place non-south Asian reporters in the region covered in the above report for a meaningful media reporting.

New Delhi: Most of the armed terrorist groups in the Northeast are fighting for greater autonomy and in many cases even sovereignty.
Manipur is the hotbed of ethnic conflicts between different tribes that are fighting for their own space. Peoples' Liberation Army and United National Liberation Front are the two main insurgent groups.
In Assam, the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) is demanidng a sovereign state for the Assamese, while the National Democratic Front of Bodoland is keen to set up a separate autonomous region for ethnic Bodo people.
In Nagaland, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim is split into two factions - NCSN(IM) led by Isaac Muivah and NSCN(K) faction led by Khaplang.
Their demands include formation of a greater Nagaland, which goes beyond the existing state boundries.
Apart from these, insurgent groups are also operating in Tripura, Meghalaya and Mizoram.
