I do not understand why the parent is calling his fellow Indians racist --
isn't that a simple example of his audacity --first he does not have a visa for
his kids and then he calls the Indian immigration officials racist --have u
heard that ever from anyone going to US immigration?
Green Card holder means that family is already in foreign shores for good
(US) and therefore should respect India's laws and get visas for their American
kids --just like anyone else. Why do they expect special treatment. Who in
their right mind would travel anywhere abroad without visa --esp one so well
versed in immigration laws -as a US Green Card holder.
Isn't there an attitude problem somewhere?

Yes, Umesh, there may be NRIs who are rude - but these are usually the ones
who have little or no basic education in etiquette, or temperament, and with
chips on their shoulders.Others may need to go to 'finishing school'.
Also your assumption of waving the American Passport and demanding 'special
treatment' is
painting with such a broad brush - most people I know, do no such thing.
