I think what we need to do is to write a report with facts and figures
why we need an Engineering College in Dhemaji ( which will not be
difficult at all, I think) and then show how many Engineering colleges
are there in some other typical states like Maharastra, Gujarat etc . I
think these states have more than 50 engineering colleges each). Once
you prepare a report, write to all the MLAs and MPs connected to
Dhemaji. You may also form a Committee for an Engg College in Dhemaji.
You may send the report in the name of the committee. Publish the email
and telephone numbers of those MPs and MLAS so that others can write to
them. Meet all opposition party leaders (AGP, BJP, CPI etc ) and
convince them of the need.
That way you may move the govt to act.
You may also try for Private Engineering College in Dhemaji.
The first thing is to prepare a report why an engineering in Dhemaji is
overdue.
This is my suggestion.
Others may have different suggestions.
