RSS meet: RSS national general secretary Mohanrao Bhagwat recently called upon
the Hindus to wake up forgetting all differences and come forward to become an
indomitable Hindushakti to lead the world. Addressing a mammoth gathering of
Hindus in Silchar he said formation of an Akhand Bharat was the dream
cherished by every Hindu and to make this dream comes true every Hindu should
be prepared to repulse the challenge or counterblow that might come in the way.
Nightmare may come when one is asleep.
But when he awakes all the distressing dreams go out, Bhagwat said invoking all
Hindus in the country to rise from deep sleep and unite for reaching out to
cherished goal.
The Vishal Hindu Sammelan at Silchar was organised to mark the valedictory
function of the yearlong celebration of Gurujee birth centenary by the south
Assam zone to centenary celebration committee, which was largely attended by
the various Hindu organisations.
Referring to the life and ideology of Gurujee (late Madhabrao Sadashibrao
Golwalkar), the RSS leader Bhagwat said every Hindu must try and strive for
building a united Hindu nation for which Gurujee had dreamt for the Hindus of
this country are facing multiferous problems today. Terrorism, conversion,
infiltration etc. are major problems which are bringing a great danger and ugly
consequences of 85 per cent Hindu people of this country. But Hindus never lose
courage. That is why after remaining under foreign rule for as long as seven
hundred years Hindus could not be obliterated by any force, he said.
Bhagwat said Sanatan Dharma which Hindus believe in, teaches to respect other
religious and shows right path to live in. Our Dharma has taught us to respect
other religions and live peacefully. But when any annehillation comes on us we
have the strength to repulse, he said.
In his address, the chief guest of the rally Swami Raghabacharya Bedanti of
Rabashadhampeeth in Sikar, Rajasthan strongly criticised those politicians who
were insulting the country by their acts of indulging in narrow votebank
politics.

Hindus in many parts of the country, he said once Hindus stood united, all
these move to weaken the nation could be resisted.
