*** I should have clarified this: Nayan only acknowledged that the
outline I presented for a reformed Assam is desirable. Not its
integral requirement , the TOOL to create it with, INDEPENDENCE that

WHY do we need independence? Are we in agreement that we do need it
for the reasons I cited? If we do, why can't you say so? Only

If we are in agreement then we can go to the next step: Look into
possible ways of achieving it.
But if we don't agree on the very fundamental premise then it wioll
be an absurd exercise, won't it?
