[Assam] OIL/Chemicals/Fecal Sewerage happily dumped into the Brahmaputra and Barak

Dear Dr. Bibhab Talukdar,
 
You are well aware of the Subject matter.
The feeling at all levels of Society is :' Assam Govt's Pollution Control Board is a money-making scam--and that bribes make every polluter go Scot-Free'.
 
Our Successful, Hardthinking,Hardworking, Socially-responsive  young Supreme-Court Advocate Sri Manish Goswami-   who grew up at Uzanbazar Riverside (Vivekananda Kendra stands on land donated by their family) could not stand idly by when we all  went by beating our chests in total despair.
 
He said   "File a suit in  the Honourable Supreme Court -and  the court will do justice"
He also felt--this course will yield results-whereas others may not!

astonished to learn about the pollution in
Brahmaputra.Its indeed very sad and we need to do
something about it urgently.
In this regard pleaase recall that I am one of your
biggest admirers. And fortunately I am practising law
in the Supreme Court which has over the last few years
viewed environmental issues very seriously. I will be
very glad if I can be of any assistance in drawing the
attention of the Hon'ble Court. I suggest that we
should immediately file a petition in this regard. I
hope to hear from you in this regard at the earliest.

If I took a few days to react to his wonderful and most rational suggestion it is because I hoped WaterWatch can get an alternative strategy out--and Leave the Supreme Court as a last reserve.
I  know now that we will need to take Goswami's help- our only way out!
My next request is to you to take up the matter as AARANYAK'S initiative for the Assam and Bangladesh(Think Globally and act Locally) peoples' survival,health,fish stock and  safe drinking water.

I am sure Sri Goswami will held when/where/how as needed.And tell us when/where/how we can.

Wishing Successful outcome which will lead to a more secured life for 130 million people.
