"I got thinking about whether Indian Partition scenes should be in the Intl
Holocaust Museum in DC -which have those of Jewish ones from Hitler's era and
also Darfur now." - This is the only part I'll comment on. I agree with you
that the holocaust in India at the time of partition should be in a museum. It
may arouse feelings against such episodes. I am not sure if USA is the right
place for it.

Indian Partition Holocaust was the swiftest leading to 2 millions deaths - in
just 2-3 months --much more than even Rwanda, forget Darfur. WW2 Holocaust
against Jews happened in over 5 years - by comparison.

Jinnah was directly responsible in creating the divisions and promoting an
ideology which led to so many deaths in 1947 and he was successful where Hitler
failed 2 years before him (in 1945) . In creating a nation based on a divisive
ideology - Islamic nations --away from secular India - over deaths of 2 million
people!!
Not surprisignly Osama Bin Laden finds safe haven among the promotters of
that ideology.
I was quite impressed at the first Harvard seminar by Mr Strom of
FacingHistory.org of teaching the truth.

I read somewhere the Lord Mountbatten wanted to free India as soon as
possible so agreed to any suggestion - by Jinnah and cronies and his wife
Edvina was soon able to convine her (alleged) lover future Indian Prime
Minister Nehru to agree to it. Riots in major Indian cities by Jinah's goons
brought Gandhi to his knees. Both Hindus and Muslims lost thru Jinnah and
continue to do so now. Ofcourse Pakistan has chnaged a lot -for the better,
though. My best wishes to them.

India has always been poor in negotiations. It should demand that LOC be
recognized as border before Jinnah house be given to Jinnah's citizens.
  Any comments
