I worte:

Good to hear you are progressing. Life is different for me too. For the first
year I was studying at Harvard -hardly had time to sleep. Then for next six
months had no job so was enjoying life looking up museums and car rides with my
NRI roommate -to NYC , Batlimore etc. Even went to meet congressemn as part of
Human Rights delegation of http://www.hinduamericanfoundation.org/HHR2004.pdf

Then I got a part time job teaching primary and pre-school students -another
new thing -at www.belldc.org. Then I got busy trying to get a work visa. Then
while waiting for it to come - I visited my Havard student loan sponsor Kamal
at LA and saw Hollywood and went beach camping.

Then had to leave the country to get new visa - so was in Canada for a month .
After coming back new job had no real work for me - but was there 8 hours daily
plus 5 hr commute -- now completed 2 months of intense teaching work six days a
week plus volunteering at www.ashanet.org on Sunday -so as you can see life is
topsy turvy - but currently pretty busy. I am learning much about teh culture ,
accent etc.

You can explore some residency options in US if you wish to work here. Foreign
graduates have to do local US residency before they can apply for medical
license. My Harvard student loan ($35,000) sponsor is SMS medical college
graduate with US residency (3 years) -which equals MD.
More later . Keep mailing.
