You don't mean the kind of support when one ulfa was lynched and the other captured by villagers who were upset over the ulfa's brave killing of an unarmed school teacher. To be fair, I think, at one time the ULFA did have some support in the rural areas. Those were the days when many of the folks in the rural areas could be bought over with a song and dance. There was even some Robinhoodism. Today, a lot of the "support" comes probably from seeing the wrong end of a firearm.
