Hi K: Welcome back to the net. I was afraid we lost you for good :-).
> > Wonder >why/how the Merican citizens did not throw him out >during last election .... the Iraq war started before >that, I guess. *** That is a hard one to answer for sure. But does that mean that it is OK for India, the holier-than-thou, to go occupy the lands of people who don't want them to? It could. I won't dispute that. In fact I would bet a rupee that India's role models are those that they decry to no end, in an abject display of clueless hypocrisy, don't they? >Also, will some enlightened American's who are hell >bent on accusing Indian Occupation on Assam, Kashmir >et al explain how, with all "checks and balances", the >Merican Demokraky is the number one war monger in the >world ... **** Unfortunately it does not ALWAYS work as intended. But the test is whether it is forever broken and dysfunctional, or whether the people can and do change, UNLIKE in desi- demokrasy. THAT is the difference. But, EVEN if it did not, even if America could not change and self-correct , how does that justify India's eternal dysfunction, in spite of its highly sought after desi-knowledge-brigades and their knowledge power? Something seems to be terribly wrong in the picture, isn't it? > >On a different context, people who are blaming Indian >education should just check the US job market. *** They do, they do! The argument also proves the point: That one can do great math, but still be clueless about the human condition and be thoroughly uneducated and even uncivilized. I couldn't have cited a more appropriate PROOF. > >Any way, no point explaining this to people who, due >to blind hatred against India, cannot even >differentiate between a Call Center (BPO) job and a IT >Services job :) **** Amazing display of deductive abilities and inferential skills here for sure. > >Sorry, I will not get involved in Assam-ULFA etc >because it is best left to people of Assam who are >settled in Assam rather then some NRA's like us .... *** Very sophisticated . I am moved. But on second thought, could that be a ploy to keep India's dirty secrets under the rug? cm At 5:50 PM -0700 6/19/07, Krishnendu Chakraborty wrote: > >>Indians are adept at predicting everything--from >one's entire future to earthquakes to election >outcomes > >I do remember some American predicting in this forum >that Bush's party will be thrown out of the windows in >next election ..... much ahead of election:) Wonder >why/how the Merican citizens did not throw him out >during last election .... the Iraq war started before >that, I guess. > >Also, will some enlightened American's who are hell >bent on accusing Indian Occupation on Assam, Kashmir >et al explain how, with all "checks and balances", the >Merican Demokraky is the number one war monger in the >world ... from Nuclear bomb (Hiroshima, Nagasaki), to >Vietnam War, to Iraq war I, to Afganistan, to Iraq >war II ... where are the "checks and balances" ? > >On a different context, people who are blaming Indian >education should just check the US job market.
