On the other hand, those in India - first have to wait for months to get the
visa petition approved and then spend another 4-5 months to get the visa
interview at US consulate in India and only then are able to come to work in US
-- and there is no guarantee that the original client would wait for one year
(after agreeing to take the worker) before the worker arrives.
I myself lost my previous job since I had to leave US and return after a month
-due to visa officials demands (and my job/work had to be done by someone else
and their customers did not wait - for my arrival)
