Her name is Himakshi Changkakoti. She brought laurel to the state of Assam
by topping the eastern region in CBSE, HSS-2005 exam with an aggregate of
95.5%. Her all India rank was 2 nd. She went onto pursue BA(H) in economics
from SRCC, Delhi.
Now, she is being invited by Mount Allison University of Canada (USA) for
higher studies. The University has offered her a bursary scholarship of $7000,
but she requires more money to attend the course.
Her father met with an accident few years back, having fallen from a two
storey high building. His small business was ruined., and cannot do much.
