Delhi police has come out with a book called "Security tips for
Northeast Students/visitors in Delhi" - detailing what students/visitors of
North east should eat, how to cook, what they should wear, how they should move
to avoid "trouble".
Is it not a nonsense thing? Who are they to tell what a boy from Mokukchang
should eat in his room and a girl from Kolashib should wear? Are they not
germinating Xenophobia by instilling discrimination in the minds of these young
kids?
Learn from Kafeel episode. Delhi police is creating future militants only by
distributing this booklet.
Delhi has a problem, not the North East.
