AASU, Asom Sena apprehend migrants

 DIBRUGARH, July 24 – After giving a clarion call to drive out foreign 
nationals from the state recently, the district unit of the All Assam Students' 
Union and the Asom Sena today forwarded at least sixty-nine suspected 
Bangladeshis including women and children to the Sadar Police Station here. The 
suspected migrants coming from Pasighat in Arunachal Pradesh, across the 
Brahmaputra through waterway were about to make their entry to Assam through 
Maijan ghat here when the AASU and the Assam Sena activists held them.

All of them were later brought to the custody of the police. All the suspected 
foreign nationals have been reportedly pushed out from Arunachal, AASU sources 
said.
