Hi A:

Did you send your above-average deliberative abilities on vacation ?

Why don't you read the words of Jairam Ramesh again, and see if you can understand what he was saying, and why I said it was like throwing in the towel.

And if you still can't , let me know. I know from a long association with Tilok Daktor, that sometimes people get befuddled by very simple images, can't see what is in the picture while getting transfixed to some obscure patterns in the field. The problem gets exacerbated when they also have a reluctance, overt or latent, to see the picture for political or emotional reasons -- a shrinkological defense mechanism he tells me.

And once you get it, with or without my help, we shall re-visit Joi Ai Oxom. But if you don't get it, or more precisely don't WANT to get it, then it will be sheer waste of time for both of us.

Thanks C'da. His snooty remarks shouldn't keep us from improving our own state. It ain't his money and it ain't my money to eat up either - it's the state's money and need to be utilized for the state.

Going back to the original topic - then it would be practical to say: Joi Ai Oxom, won't it.

Being an indigenous citizen does not give one the right (or the heart) to be destructive towards one's own state/land.

*** Yeah Alpana. He is hurting 'cos his poitrik xompotty is going to waste :-). It is MY paranoid misinterpretation.

Could you simplify it a bit, C'da? Is it that he is acting like giving his own money? My brain just can't comprehend intellectual talks. what is it?

But I understand you why you can't care less. Those are merely my
 spinning :-).

No, not spinning this time. could be a paranoid misinterpretation :), but I don't see a spin here.

*** You missed the whole point, entirely! It is not about looking
down upon or looking up to. It describes a serious systemic
dysfunction-- of mai-baap's doles, however well intentioned or fair
or even overly generous , at the cost of others, failing to do what
 it is meant to.

But I understand you why you can't care less. Those are merely my
