Miss Pranami Das from Birmingham University with GU students:
It is heartening to note that Miss Pranami Das, a Under Graduate Student from
Birmingham University, UK volunteered to interact with Gauhati University
Student community and she told the students about the opportunities available
at UK universities. An Interactive Session was organised at Gauhati University
on 8 Sept 2007 where Pranami comfortably met a number of queries from large
number of students present in the interactive session.
Erlier in that Interactive Session, Dr Jogen Ch Kalita informed the students
about different Scholrships and Bursaries available for Indian students to
pursue higher studies in UK and abroad.
Presently, Pranami is at Guwahati on holiday trip with her father Dr Karuna
Sagar Das and she has been spending her time meeting Assamese artists and
writers at Guwahati and visiting few schools around in her father's motherland.
