Chomky said, "For the United States, this is the first time since the British 
burnt down Washington, in 1814, that the national territory has been under 
attack, or for that matter even under threat. And I don’t have to review what’s 
happened in those two centuries. The number of victims is huge. Now, for the 
first time, the guns have been pointed in the opposite direction, and that’s a 
dramatic change."
   
  Why didn't Pearl Harbor and US involvement in second world war enter Comsky's 
discourse? Did i Miss it as I read the text?
