Chomky said, "For the United States, this is the first time since the British
burnt down Washington, in 1814, that the national territory has been under
attack, or for that matter even under threat. And I dont have to review whats
happened in those two centuries. The number of victims is huge. Now, for the
first time, the guns have been pointed in the opposite direction, and thats a
dramatic change."
Why didn't Pearl Harbor and US involvement in second world war enter Comsky's
discourse? Did i Miss it as I read the text?

visit in 1996 was
" The lifestyle of the Indian elite is amazing. I have never seen such
opulence even in America."
