If you were a Gujarati at the time of Gujarat riots in 2002 -- you would blame
the Indian media for bias - blaming majority (Hindus) for attacks against
minorities. If you were a Punjabi in late 1980s and early 1990s again you
would blame the Indian media for highlighting atrocities committed against the
minorities (Hindus in this case) while highlighting incidents committed by
minorities.
In this case -- It is true (prima facie) that there were some cruel, cunning ,
politically motivated guys among the leaders of these Adivasi procession
leaders - who created a violent situation - created the violent situation - by
assaulting a woman and her child --and then disapppearing to let the fight take
place between innocents. Isn't that how most riots have taken place in India so
far.
Why blame the media alone? Have some spine and develop thick skin. Americans
have a thick skin and live with head held high despite allegations flying
against the world's only super power.

against people of Assam to make a big split.None of any Assam residence ever
said these people are not Assamese!!They also form our culture and society.The
interest to publish or air Video of nude lone helpless woman is a high degree
crime.But since it did happened in Assam, all take a note of it and making fun
through world wide media now- only to prove that people of Assam are
cannibals!!This is what the independant Indian MEDIA and dirty politics wanted.
JOurnalist asociation of Assam and Bar Association of Assam must take all the
legal actions on all the News media and TV channels.Beating was done, arrest is
made, law is taking course of action.But what made them to repeatedly air and
publich the nude womans photo so enlarged.Is it going to be some kind of
disclosure of sex???Beauty of woman that civilized people never really seen a
natural beauty?? It seems now same.
A strong oppositions is needed by the people of Assam as well LAwyers and
journalist bodies.
Did anyone noted Mr.Mukut Medhi' writing please?Why these photograp[her never
took the shot of the lone Govt magistrate being kicked to drain?That is crime
to justice.None channel did it but.
It smells a rate in the hole.Gogoi dangoriyas time is going well, so all the
opositions are in hurry to spoil the bean.HOpe this was the best idea following
Rajkumar Funeral at Bangalore way....... Of course the tea garden people were
mostly drunk!!Then who did it??
HOpe we all need to wake up now.
Kicking a woman and makind her nude in public is highly uncivilized act.NO
excue for it.But same treatment is required to all media also.Let it be TV
channels or Newspapers.WE are running our of telerance now.Else Assam will
remain others paradise for ever.
It was MANN, it was Mir Jumla, It was Mughals.. and then British, then Inian
forces, and now the dirty Indian politics of some state to play on us- to make
us get lost from Indian scene once for all!!!
