Alpana-ji, Yes , a wonderfully inspiring movie (though may not be based on a true story - is it? ) I recommended it to my (mostly US based) friends and old classmates on Facebook.com -- to view current (modern) schools in India and family life for school students and the themes therein.
Umesh PS: SInce it was a Hindi movie I kept low about it on AssamNet :-) Thanks. "Alpana B. If you have not yet, you might want to make some time to watch the movie Taare Zameen Par`, produced and directed by Amir Khan. It is about all the problems faced by a dyslexic boy in this world, which is "fit" for the toppers only. But don't be worried that it would make you depressed. It has a beautiful (and realistic) ending. It is beautifully made and has the potential of getting all kinds of awards including an Oscar.
