After his alleged attempt at bribing the police officer of the CBI, he has been accused of some more culpable actions including those under the Prevention of Corruption Act. So, for investigation of crimes under the Penal Code as well as under the anti-gratft Act, the Police may conduct search and seizure called raid. Financial Corruption would point towards black money and the crime he has been accused of may well involve smuggling of the murder weapon..... now, it is my turn for a figure of speech:-)"
