I am sure you will be able to find out about them. I understand that there are around 25,000 persons from Assam in Bangalore area. Assam Society Bangalore may not have contact with all of them. I have come across their name several times in the Assam Mailing list and different news papers. I understand it was established in 1982 and they organise also Bihu festivals in Bangalore. I read in the Assam Tribune that in the last Bihu celebration they invited also Jubeen Garg to perform. So they must be a well-established society. Even Hindu mentioned about their programme.
