On a similar note, I wish to point to a friend of mine( back when I was studying in REC Surat ). When we used to go for movies in the city, he would never buy a movie ticket in black. Black marketing of movie tickets was rampant in Surat( probably it still is ) in those days( late 90s ). The people involved were mostly people from the cinema theatre itself. We wouldn't mind paying Rs40-50 for a Rs25 ticket for a "hit" movie but this guy would rather take the bus/auto back to the hostel. We used to joke whether his actions would change anything or even make the cinema theatre rethink their action. I understand now how right he was. If everyone else had only done the same, the cinema owners would have to open the sales counter instead of displaying a "House Full" board within 5 mins of opening.
