Thanks A. Yes I am back. Arrived on Nov. 22 and after nursing jet-lag and Delhi's vicious pollution induced sinus problems away, finally feel normal again. Delhi ties with Beizing. Anyway, weather in Assam and Arunachal was fantastic. Traveled to Namdapha in Arunachal and camped two nights at the confluence of two major feeders of the Brahmaputra ( but the names I was told don't jive with my maps). One was definitely Noa Dihing, the other may or may not have been the Dibang. What a fabulous trip it was! If you have Google Earth, look up the location 27^29'53.12"N and 96^23'01.10"E. I marked it as Raj Maunglang's Camp. Will post pics. some time soon I hope. It is too bad Indians have mastered the art of ruining every good program.
