Chandan Da's elaboration of the "logarithmic scale" would put the fear of god into the uninitiated now:-) He, and probably you, highlighted earlier that while KMSS followers are relying on their leaders in their campaign, we, in this forum have not discussed much about this dam issue with the same vehemence as we use in other debates/ discussions, as most of us are not so informed as to form an opinion one way or the other. Or may be we are tired of discussing too much, in spite of the fact that this 'dam' issue may really hold ominous portents for us here. But the most important fact should not be lost sight of. The 'why' behind all this. It would be too naive on our part to put on blinkers and think that the 'decision-making' process has been faulty only due to in-ept Engineering and so can be corrected with good advice. The design is sinister, and the fight would be very bitter. Unless the people fight resolutely, these dams shall be built, if not before elections, then thereafter, riding roughshod over the wishes of the people going to be affected.
