No papers in Arunachal
Arunachal Pradesh did not get newspapers for second consecutive day, on Dec
20. The working journalists of the State have gone for indefinite strike since
December 18 with their demand to nab the culprits associated with an assault on
two women journalists on December 12. They demonstrated in front of the DC's
office and the police station at Naharlagun, near Itanagar.The morning dailies
were also published with a black space on the front pages for three consecutive
days.
