Gogoi lays Rs 1,500-cr project foundation

GUWAHATI,
Feb 23: State Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi laid the foundation stone of
the Kohinoor Pulp and Paper Project, worth about Rs 1,500 crore, at the
Industrial Growth Centre at Matia in Goalpara district today. The
capacity of this paper industry, billed as the biggest such industry in
the country, will be two lakh metric tonnes.
