Dear Sir / Madam,
It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that we
in active support from FASS (Friends of Assam and Seven Sisters) is
organizing the Koya Kujiya Festival on the 5th and 6th of March, 2011.
The aim of this festival is to promote Abhayapuri as a tourist
destination of International repute.
This is a part of LUIT HOLIDAYS’s efforts to develop off track and
newer destinations in Assam and also to develop a tourist circuit in
Lower Assam. This endeavor is being patronized by the Department of
Tourism, Govt. of Assam and the District Administration of Bongaigaon.
We are also introducing the concept of Community participation and
Interactive Tourism as part of this Event wherein an ethnic village is
being constructed with participants from five different communities
(viz: Bodo, Rabha, Garo, Koch Rajbongshi and Santhal) showcasing their
crafts and culture in an interactive fashion.
Please go through the attachment documents (Invitation and Agenda) ,
visit the festival on March 5th and 6th and make this event a
glorifying success!
