Non Governmental Organization Forum (NGO FORUM) is one of the leading voluntary
organization which has been active for last half a decade working for rural
development schemes and giving main emphasis on training of self Employment
Schemes in Tinsukia District.
Aims And Objectives :
1.
To undertake innovative and experimental projects
in Urban and Rural Development with focus on upliftment of weaker sections.
2.
To collaborate with extension agencies, Panchayat
Raj Institution, voluntary Agencies , Industrial and Business houses, Central
and state
Governments, UN and International Agencies for
promotion of Urban and Rural Development activities.
3.
TO study, evaluate and evolve strategies and
project of Urban and Rural Development.
4.
To serve as a noble agency for national, international
Govt. and Non-Governmental Organisation in Assam.
5.
To enter into collaboration/ professional
activities at the grass root, national and international levels.
6.
To plan, promote, assist, monitor and guide in the
implementation of programmes and activities of social and economic nature
designed for slum sector.
7.
To study, evaluate, evolve and undertake
strategies and projects of free legal aid and advise to weaker sections.
8.
To encourage inculcation of sense of pride in the
cultural heritage of Assam.
9.
To fight the menace of fatal drags of narcotics
additiction.
10.
To fight wanton destruction of forest, pollution
of environment and study, evaluate and evolve strategies and project for
preservation and development in these sectors.
11.
To work in the field of Education, both formal and
non formal with the support of government and non-Government agencies.
12.
To work in the field of Healthy by establishing
hospital, other health related matters such as blood donation and mainly to
give health service to the poor people.
13.
To work for women empowerment giving support to
women group and other self help group and also to support in their economic
activities.
14.
To work and liaison with other sister NGO's of Assam for
better co-ordination to help the society
