SOCIETY FOR SRIMANTA SANKARADEVA is a socio-economic, cultural and spiritual organization. It was formed in May 2011 with the aim of creating awareness about the multi-faceted contributions of Srimanta Sankaradeva and to spread the universal message as well as glory of the saint all over the world. Aims of the society : To spread the universal message and glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world and to do all such things that may be necessary to be done for that purpose, in a cultured manner. Objectives of the society : To create awareness about the multi-faceted contributions of Sankaradeva and to spread the universal message as well as glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world. To create awareness about the spiritual philosophy of Srimanta Sankaradeva that is to submit oneself to the supreme almighty Krishna. To hold meetings, seminars, conventions, lecture-demonstrations etc in different places of the world to spread the universal message as well as glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva To prepare, produce and distribute literature and audio-visual tools on different aspects of Srimanta Sankaradeva To create awareness about heritages associated with Srimanta Sankaradeva and to create awareness about their protection and promotion To conduct serious research on Srimanta Sankaradeva and his important and earnest followers like Madhavadeva in order to add to the existing knowledge To use all possible tools of mass-communication to spread the message and glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world. To work among all people irrespective of caste, creed, sex, nationality to spread the message and glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world To accord recognition to litterateurs and artists for their serious original works on and about Srimanta Sankaradeva To set up branches of the society in different parts of the world to spread the message and glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world To work in unison with the Facebook group ‘Followers of Srimanta Sankaradeva.’ but will be independent from it To engage voluntary workers, life workers and paid employees in the activities of the society. To do any other thing not mentioned above but required to spread the message and glory of Srimanta Sankaradeva all over the world in a cultured manner To do all such things about Madhavadeva just as Srimanta Sankaradeva To mobilize resources by way of commercial activities, and by taking donations grants etc from Indian and foreign sources in keeping with the objectives of the society.
