David Quinn in the article above states:"The pioneering architect Le Corbusier spent the 1950's bringing concrete to Chandigah' 'the city beautiful now celebrates its creator'.(Independant, 2nd November 2011) I am sorry to know that the great architect's work is not being properly cared for. Some of the building's manhole covers appear at US auction houses, each piece selling at about $12,000.[In my Guwahati home also all the manhole covers were stolen one night.
