Dear Netters:
?
Internet literature is a rising phenomenon. Some of my ex-colleagues in the BBC
have become authors after their retirement. You do not need a publisher for your
book. It has opened a new world to aspiring authors.
?
The New York Times today (7 11 2011) introduces us to the famous Chinese
novelist Murong Xuecum who has won a prestigious literary prizer ingenuously
sidestepping the mighty official censor of the Communist Party of China. His
book Leave Me Alone:A Novel of Chengdu translated from the Chinese into English
by Harvey Tomlinson was nominated in 2008 for the prestigious Man Asian
Literary Prize.
