Drugs Tested on survivors of Bhopal
Survivors of the world's worst industrial disaster at Bhopal have been
used as subjects in drugs trials that secret reports seen by The
Independent say broke international ethical standards and could have
put participants at risk
Some patients at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and research centre say they
had no idea they were involved in such studies. Thew were interviewed
as part of an investigation into Western pharmaceutical firms' funding
of drug trials in India.
