Dear Friends:
Since my last post to Assamnet this morning, India Ink has added
another item of serious concern for all of us. In today's Seven
Sister's Post, Pankaj Borthakur's exclusive report reveals that 3,500
Assam women are missing since 2005.This is the lead story of the daily
on the very front page. The article in the India Ink deals with the
matter of human trafficking in Mumbai. Mumbai Police stated that
trafficked girls of Assam are engaged in sex trade in the metro city.
Now, please read these two articles from the two dailies and find out
what we have been able to stop the flesh trade so far.
