Dear Ms. Supriya Misra,

Thank you very much for your organization's effort in developing HIV prevention
educational materials. There are plenty of people in US who are fluent Assamese
speakers and would be willing to help you. I am also posting this mail to the
mailing list which is subscribed by people across the globe. I am sure many
people will contact you. In the mean time, I will also request some of them to
contact you.

I also took the liberty to copy this mail to Ms. Jahnabi Goswami, who is a
leading figure in fighting AIDS in Assam and in the nation.

Please let me know, if you need any other help or information. Keep up the good
work.

With best regards
Ganesh Bora

Subject: Educational project in Assam

Dear Dr. Ganesh Bora,

It is wonderful to see the work of the Assam Society of America under your
leadership. I'm writing to you on behalf of TeachAIDS to see if you may be able
to help us identify fluent Assamese speakers (read/write in the language) to
support the development of customized HIV prevention materials for Assam.

With 250+ partners, TeachAIDS' education programs are already used in 70+
countries around the world. However, our organization has special ties to
India, for which we will be developing 16 special language versions including
Assamese. All our educational materials are developed with an interdisciplinary
team of experts from Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Princeton, among others. Our goal
is to develop the highest quality, research-based, culturally-appropriate
educational materials and make them available to all free of cost.

With the endorsement of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, the TeachAIDS educational
materials have have already been approve for distribution throughout the state
of Assam. We plan to launch the Assamese materials in late-November 2013, in
time for World AIDS Day (December 1st).

If there is a central mailing list for your organization, we kindly request if
you could send the text included at the bottom of this email.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you so much for your time.

Warm regards,

Supriya Misra
