Uva scholarships for Indian citizens for all disciplines Deadline: 1 December 2013 (call open 15 October) The UvA offers in cooperation with EMINTE www.eminte.eu scholarships to Indians for all disciplines within the University of Amsterdam. EMINTE grants may be offered to students and researchers with an Indian nationality who have not stayed more than 12 months in the EU / EEA for the past 5 years Most scholarships will be distributed among the following Indian partner universities: o Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India o Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India o Indian Institute of Technology Bombay o Jadavpur University o University of Pune o Kerala University o Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences o North Orissa University o The Gandhigran Rural University o Jawaharlal Nehru University § The application call is open from 15 October to 1 December 2013. General Erasmus Mundus Action 2 Information § A PhD student will receive a scholarship of EUR 1500 per month, plus a round trip flight, plus insurance, plus visa fees (reimbursed afterwards). A postdoc gets a monthly amount of EUR 1800 and a staff visit gets EUR 2500 during the month of visit. § Maximum duration of the scholarship o PhDs: 1 semester- 34 months (2/3 of the scholarships will be for 34 months) o Post docs: 6-9 months month) o Staff: 1 month Do you wish to take part?
