Lecture on Dioxin and its hazard to human health
Guwahati: A lecture on dioxin, causes of dioxin release and its hazard to human health as a cancer causing agent will be delivered by Ashim Chatterjee, an active environment activist of Assam tomorrow (30 October) in Guwahati Press Club. The program is scheduled to start at 2 pm. A seasoned activist, Mr Chatterjee continues his effort to generate public awareness on the growing menace of air, water and surface pollution across the region. Emphasizing on proper waste disposals in Guwahati, Mr Chatterjee remains instrumental in providing training, technical knowhow and waste management services to a large number of hospitals in Assam. A strong believer in the non-burning technologies for the waste managements, Mr Chatterjee argues that the biomedical waste management is more an administrative issue than a technical one. _______________________________________________ assam mailing list [email protected] http://assamnet.org/mailman/listinfo/assam_assamnet.org
