I received the following mail from the Counsellor of Indian Embassy and
Director of Gandhi Centre (ICCR centre), The Hague informing about Ms.
Anwesa Mahanta <https://www.facebook.com/anwesamahanta> who will be in
France in Mid July 2014 and presenting a paper in the upcoming conference of
World Dance Alliance, at Angers (6th to 11th July, 2014). After that if
opportunities permit she would also like share about the Sattriya Dance and
allied living traditions of Assam in France or neighbouring countries.
We are exploring possibilities to organise one programme in The
Hague. If some of you would like to organise a programme in France or in the
neighbouring country pls let me know. You will find background information

Dear Sanjeevji
It was so nice meeting you the other day in IIC. It gives me pleasure to
share with you that I shall be presenting a research work, Anahata: Unbound
by Space and Time in collaboration with a somatic practitioner and dancer
Felicity Molloy in the upcoming conference of World Dance Alliance, at
Angers (6th to 11th July, 2014). At the same time, I also wanted to know if
there could be some opportunities to share about the Sattriya Dance and
allied living traditions of Assam in France or neighboring places. It would
be really a great help, if you could suggest some organisations who would be
interested in featuring Sattriya Dance. My tentative plan as of now is
4th July, Paris and then proceed to Angers.
6th to 10th - Angers
12th, 13th and 14th Montpelier
15th Return to Paris
