Jorhat, Jan. 13: Asom Jatiya Prakash - a Jorhat-based non-profit organisation and publisher of Asomiya Jatiya Abhidhan, the biggest-ever comprehensive dictionary in Assamese running into five volumes - has received a "gift" from an Assamese US-based NRI that is expected to throw new light on growth of Assamese language and literature in the 19th century.
