All
Black rice is quite common in Thailand and has been available in Thai Grocery 
stores in the U.S. for many years. Thai people make black rice pudding with 
sugar and coconut milk.  I have had it years ago in several Thai restaurants in 
Thailand but did not like it as the grain was gritty.  May be in salad it will 
taste good.
