The situation is grim once again. On behalf of AFNA, we have not mobilized any
resource yet as we could not make much impact on the overall situation and find
a longer term solution. We are open to interact with NGOs in Assam and see how
we can make an impact there.

At least 5 lakh hit, two die as Assam, Arunachal flood situation worsens
Over 10,000 more people were shifted to relief camps in eight districts in
Saturday, taking the number of inmates in 70 relief camps up to about 22,000.
Is anybody aware of flood relief organisations in Assam with FCRA permission to
receive donations from abroad to support the flood victims? @ Ankur
