Brahmaputra Literary Festival from February 9
By our Staff ReporterGUWAHATI, Jan 21: Assam Publication Board (APB) and
National Book Trust (NBT) are going to hold the Brahmaputra Literary Festival
from February 9 to 11, 2018 at Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra, Guwahati.This
is the second year of this festival that is going to be participated by around
120 writers from rest of India and abroad. Front-running litterateurs of the
Northeast will also be invited to the festival. A website has been prepared to
this effect. Other preparations for the literary festival are also going on. In
the run-up to the festival all pre-festival activities will be conducted in the
universities and colleges in Kamrup(M) and its nearby districts. Teachers and
students of universities and colleges of the State will get ample opportunities
for exchange of opinion with international writers at the festival. The
organizers are going to invite teachers and students of a few universities and
colleges of the State who are keen in literary activities to the festival.
