Thank you whoever for letting us know about the next Spielberg. We don't get to see high falutin' movies like that at Dogpatch. But I take your word for it. I am more hopeful about Shymalan ( why the night bizness- m-night --midnight?) and his creations, than Lagaan and Devdas. You don't equate Midnight's work to Lagaan and Devdas etc, do you? Why I ask is that I never expressed any opinions about Shyamalan. I did see his first movie , even though I had no idea what was going on for most part of the movie. Again I take others' word for it--that it was terrific. It was good. Better than Lagaan for sure. Will have to wait for Devdas yet. Spielberg's work I don' know about. I did enjoy ET. But that's about it. I don't know if I saw anything else. So it is neither here nor there. Only thing I could guess is that whatever Midnight might create, could be expected to be far aove the typical, or even a-typical Bollywood fare.
