D.da,
I agree with your opinion. In jharkhand few days back a tussle took place
between local santhali & non-santhali on the same issue of reservation of
state govt 4th grade post on the basis of domicile . What is the harm in
giving the 4th grade posts to the son of the soil ?

Subject: Conscience

Where is the conscience of these administrators? Why would IIT need the 4th
grade employees from outside Assam?

In my five years at IIT Kharagpur, I never saw anything like this. Not only
the 4th grade employees but most of the clerks and secretaries were from
the local area. The teachers as expected were from different parts of
India, including West Bengal where Kharagpur is located.

It is regrettable that AASU has to get involved even for 130 jobs. Looking
at the names of the administrators involved, again I blame Assamese people
for Assam's problems.
