It just tells you how out of tune some of the people are. The likes of Noor Fatima's parents know what the future holds and they are ready to adjust to the needs of the time.

It's the diehards in India and Pakistan that keep the people apart. Let's hope for the best.

Noor Fatima, the 2 year old Pakistani girl who took
the bus from Lahore and undewent a successful heart
surgery in Bangalore, certainly became a darling of
the Indian media. She came to symbolise the desire
between the common men across the borders for a normal
relation. She was offered financial and other help
from different quarters in India. Apart from all
Indian newspapers, the incident got very wide coverage
from news agencies like BBC as well. But surpisingly
Pakistani media was totally silent. I could not find
any mention of this interesting and encouraging story
in any of the Pakistani media at all. I did check Jung
and Dawn ... but not a line.

I wonder why ?
