Raiz,
Please see if you know someone back home - who might be interested in participating
in the
discussions (read email). Sanjoy Hazarika is organizing a public forum - the timeline
being Oct
last week/Nov first week. This could elicit a good response from the interested crowd.
I happened
to see Mr Nayan Sharma's article on River-linking @
http://www.thestatesman.net/page.news.php?clid=14&theme=&usrsess=1&id=23854. This is
the NE page
edited by Sanjoy-da. This comes in all the editions (all Metros) except the North
East. One has
the feel that Chandan-da and the others closely following the RiverLinking topic could
actually
contribute to this writers space.
Its inspiring to see people (like Mr Nayan Sharma) taking some time off and writing
about their
opinions/ideas for the region.

Pankaj-da, please show this email to Atul-da. It will be nice if a few knowledgeable
parties from
Cotton College took part in the discussions on river-linking issues.

Cheers,
Partha
