By a Staff Reporter
GUWAHATI, Nov 13:
With just a day left for the November 15 deadline set by nine extremist organizations in the region to stop screening of Hindi movies in the theatres across the North-east, artistes, producers, directors, distributors, exhibitors and workers of Assamese cinema today gathered together on the banks of the Dighali Pukhuri here and staged a six-hour hunger strike.
A memorandum has been presented before Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi by the Steering Committee headed by Eastern India Motion Pictures Association (EIMPA)
