Why Vaishnavas are tied up with sacrifice then?
If you are not a Vaishnava it might take a while for you to figure out
Who is a Vaishnava?
One who proclaims sarana
What is sarana?
sarana is the Vaishnava congregation.
In this congregation,
one sees satra sarai samajya coming to light for the purpose of divine sacrifice. sarai is the base of Vaishnava icon and srimad bhagavad resides on top of it. kirtan gosha is a mini version of srimad bhagavad.
When/where did Vaishnavas get the divine names in Roman?
During the year 1779; Barpeta and Madhupur.
[This Roman naming was performed through a congregation and the congregation continued for four days; four is a sacred number among Vaishnavas]
The Roman nomenclatures were conducted through that ceremony to help a Christian researcher Saint Thomas Would. Now of course, Vaishnavas use same nomenclature during sarana congregation organized for foreign national. The names or naam counts Vaishnavas a lot as These are tied up to spiritual/divine causes.
naam is the dharma of Vaishnava!
why do i tell you all these?
i tell you to help you understand the immense spiritual/divine meaning attached to "naam" so you understand to avoid Vaishnava spiritual abuse!
